For the last 75 years, Palestinians have been under constant attack, their people have been denied basic human rights such as food, water, electricity and the right to live. This has gotten worse for the past few months as they are constantly being bombed - and they are begging for our help. Most of us live in a privileged position where we are allowed to exist as we are, without fearing that we might not live to see tomorrow. Theatre has always and will always be political. [Boots For Palestine] was a fundraising effort between a group of video masters that wanted to do the most they could. In exchange for donation(s) to any of the linked charities supporting relief efforts in Gaza and Palestine, we offered videos of your choice.
Every 5 dollars donated got you a UK video, and every 10 dollars donated got you a North American video.In order to request your videos, you had to submit a screenshot of your donation receipt to the linked form, fill out your contact information, and select the videos that you’d wanted. After verifying your donation, one of the organizers would email you the links to the videos you’ve selected.
